Primary Sounds Device: Win7 Sound (WASAPI)
ForceDefaultPlaybackDevice=1 (found in \Steam\SteamApps\common\Rocksmith2014\Rocksmith.in i) I'm sure they are a bit different for everyone but at least folks who are having the same type of problem will have an idea of what settings to try. Thank you everyone on this thread for all of your help with this. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.Įdit: I was able to finally get the audio working in the recording. I know the message is a big vague and I don't a lot of the technical details but I was wonder if others had the same experience. RS1 has a similar sort of message to it but it would continue to have sound after the message and I could record using Bandicam. Once I go past this error message, the game continues to move on but has no sound to it. When the game starts, it gives me a message saying something about needing to plug in a supported audio device (I don't remember the exact message but can get it if needed). Like I did in RS1, I would go into the options and disable Audio Exclusivity and restart the game. My issue is that when I try to record a video using Bandicam, the audio does not record but my video records fine. I hope you all are enjoying RS2014 so far! This probably isn't the right place to post this message on the board but since it gets a lot of traffic, I thought someone may have some ideas.
